Goodman Coffee - Chattanooga

I’ve been exploring new coffee shops and writing about them for years now. It’s been a passion project and a lot of fun for me. Recently on a trip to Tennessee to photograph a wedding I checked out Goodman Coffee. This coffee shop is located in St. Elmo, at the foot of Lookout Mountain. A perfect place to stop before or after a hike. There was spacious seating by the window and a patio in the back. Go check them out!

Niedlovs Bakery & Cafe - Chattanooga

This is a coffee shop that holds so many memories and I would literally fly in just to visit. When I first started out as a photographer I spent endless hours here. I highly recommend their cappuccino paired with any delicious pastry. So cool to seen the growth of this shop over the years. Go check them out if your in Tennessee or next time you visit! It’s located right behind the Chattanooga Choo Choo!

I kept hearing about Flat Track Coffee so I went by to check it out myself. I love the aesthetics of this shop. The barista who greeted me was very friendly and was happy to answer any questions I had. It wasn’t too busy at the time I went and there was plenty of seating. Mozarts Coffee Shop - Austin

I love Austin, and recently got to travel there to celebrate a friend! We stopped at Mozart Coffee Shop. This beautiful coffee spot is located right next to the river. There is plenty of outdoor seating. As usual, I got my cappuccino. This time I paired it with a delicious chocolate croissant. Definitely a must visit next time you are in Austin!

The Book & Cover - Chattanooga

This is such a great spot and within walking distance from some other great restaurants! This coffee shop has both inside and outdoor seating. It has a plethora of great books to choose from and nooks to sit in! Located in downtown Chattanooga, whether you love there or you are visiting, an absolute must see! I enjoyed a pumpkin spice latte while I sat outside and enjoyed the cooler outdoors.

Press Coffee - Waco

What an inspiring weekend. I traveled out and photograph a client’s proposal in Waco this past Saturday. Since I planned on visiting Magnolia for the first time, stopping at Press Coffee Co, was a must. The pastries were to die for! I also tried their 1905 signature latte (rich coffee blended with milk, ice, vanilla, and a hint of toasted marshmallow).

Leaves Book and Tea Shop - Fort Worth

My friend invited me to check out Leaves Book & Tea Shop near Southside. I was pleasantly surprised by the calm atmosphere of this shop! I found myself feeling relaxed and even tried their sparkling tea. I did not know there were so many different kinds of tea. They even have coffee. But mostly tea. There is plenty of seating too! Coffee By Design - Maine

Over the years that I’ve traveled, I have blogged about local coffee shops. So here is the most recent blog from when I was flown out to Maine to photograph a wedding! This coffee shop was definitely unique. It was a beautiful fall day when I ordered my cappuccino with oat milk. It was made promptly and I enjoyed a few moments before exploring the ocean. Sacred Ground Coffee - New Mexico

I explored a new coffee shop while on this trip in Ruidoso, New Mexico. I ordered my dry capp and the barista suggested a cinnamon roll to go with it. It was the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. This coffee shop is located in Ruidoso. In the back of the coffee shop their deck overlooks the Rio Ruidoso river. Good coffee, even better cinnamon roll. I am still thinking about it.

Oromo Cafe - Chicago

Oromo Cafe was my second coffee stop of the day. While exploring Chicago today I wanted to see at least two coffee shops! This hidden gem is underneath the line. You can hear the train rumbling by. I enjoyed a cup of Turkish coffee and a complimentary treat. It is a quiet space that is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A unique experience I won’t easily forget. I didn’t realize until later that the above design has coffee beans in it.

Caffe Umbria Artisan Coffee Roaster - Chicago

Some of the best things have happened to me while exploring. I was heading to another coffee shop when I stumbled upon Caffe Umbria here in Chicago. When exploring new coffee shops, I always order my cappuccino. Today was no different. Except imagine my surprise when my latte art was gold line through my foam. The barista explained to me that because of the foam with Capps, the espresso is usually experienced at the end. Poured in this way, the espresso is experienced from the beginning. This spot also fulled my day dreaming and plans to visit Europe next year.
